a girl aged seven and five. I am originally from Darjeeling. I am
in this flesh trade for the past nine years. Due to poverty I came
down to Mumbai with my friend who was already in this profession.
Just to feed my family I got into prostitution.
My husband is a drunkard and he shows no responsibility towards
us. If I don’t earn then who will feed my children. They are studying
in a Municipality school. My main concern is my children. I want
them to get good education and they should lead a good life.
I am HIV positive along with that I suffer from TB and kidney related
ailment. I earn hand to mouth and I do not wish to bring my girl
child into this business. My children are not aware that I am a
sex worker. I want them to get educated and live in the normal accepted
society. The way my life got ruined I don’t want my children to
go through this hell.
