Thane Our contractor doesn’t give us facilities which we are entitled
for. When we approach the Municipal Corporation they say that our
money and other facilities are given to the contractors so we should
not come to them for help. We are given less wages and we work for
long odd hours. We should actually get a salary of Rs. 7 to 8,000
but we get only Rs. 3,000. Since two months we are without salary.
We don’t even have any contact details of our contractor. TMC sweeper
gets a salary of Rs. 15,000 and they have lesser work. She wants
government to look into this matter and give them jobs at TMC.
