VoiceOfBharat.org : First Phase
In the first phase of VoiceOfBharat.org which ends on 31st December
2011, we have shared demographic profiles of all the 593 731 villages
of India, have shared the basic profiles of most of the districts
of India, and, have interviewed NGOs from about 550 out of 650
districts of India.
VoiceOfBharat.org : Second Phase
: Cocreation
We now enter the second phase in January 2012.
And we would like to construst the second phase based on the principle
of cocreation, where the entire phase will be built in partnership
with stakeholders.
In this phase, we would be inviting about 3000 NGOs working in
over 400 districts of India on how they and their communities
are addressing the challenges they face. These NGOs are being
identified by IndianNGOs.com, which will enter its third phase
of operation at the same time, and which will host the donation
and volunteering opportunities of these NGOs. The entire infrastructure
of helping NGOs will be supported by internal reserves and sponsorships
and the NGOs would not have to pay to share their programmes,
interventions, volunteering and donation opportunities.
To ensure that the world understands India's Social & Developmental
priorities from the thought leaders in India, we will recommend
about 3 to 5 thought leaders in each issue to DevelopedNation.org,
a global developmental portal.
To ensure that the voice of communities is heard, in every issue,
we will invite our NGO partners to connect us to the communities
they service and you can therefore listen to the families suffering
from arsenic water, or the people suffering because of man animal
conflict, naxalism, caste ...
The purpose of our coverage of issues is action. So, we will
share the government policies, schemes, the legal angle, and soon
will start sharing innovative, replicable and scalable programmes.
To help you appreciate the size of the canvas, we will share national
and regional statistics.
If you want us to add any specific issue, send a mail to Sanjay@VoiceOfBharat.org
