Khagaria is an agrarian district. People’s economic condition
depends upon the yield of crops. Khagaria is a drought prone region
so the land is not that fertile for cultivation. Landless laborers,
indebted farmers migrate to different places in search of work.
People here are living in acute poverty.
Unemployment is also another major crisis we are going through.
