Voice of Godda: Saurabha Gunjan

Godda is a tribal dominated area. The tribes live below the poverty line. The problems we face are related to education, improper land utilization, lack of awareness about water management and poverty. The road infrastructure is poorly maintained. Being hilly the place is not very accessible. Timber exploitation happens extensively.
None of the government programs are reaching these tribes. Even National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) is not functional. Inspite of governments various programs there is no change in the development of the rural area.
