Brief About Udalguri District
Bandarguri village is inhabited by Assamese, Adivasis,
Nepalese and Bodo population. The villagers of Bandarguri and Goraibari
had to cover a long distance on foot during the months of monsoon
due to the inundation of the area adjoining Dhansiri Dong which
links both the villages to the hinterland. To alleviate the hardship
of the villagers of Bandarguri and its neighbouring villages, 62
Field Regiment of Army constructed a bridge on the road leading
to these villages. The bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 1,70,000/-
