Scarcity of drinking water is the prime social problem in the district.
Women find lots of problem in collection of potable water. Most
of tribal women remain busy in collecting firewood and drinking
water in their daily routine. This has led to illiteracy among women
and lack of economic self sufficiency. They are dependent on their
husband’s income which is too small. Various schemes and programmes
of Self Help Groups are not informed to the last beneficiary in
village.
